Cynthia and I ventured out to Death Valley National Park to take in the splendor of the barren California desert. We made sure to visit all of the suggested landmarks like Salt Flats, Badwater Pool, Artists Palette, and Dante’s View to name a few. Badwater Basin is the location of the lowest point in North American at 282 feet (86m) below sea level.
