One thing Cynthia and I quickly discovered, which continued to astound us throughout our time in Nashville, were the number of immaculate neighborhoods with magnificent and beautifully designed homes. It seemed that no matter what direction we randomly drove in, we would find ourselves in the middle of a picture-perfect neighborhood with enormous homes and lots. Even in the modest neighborhood we stayed at where some of the pictures in the gallery above come from, the majority of houses were elegantly designed and well maintained. This isn’t to say there aren’t run down areas in Nashville, but the number of unattractive neighborhoods we randomly encountered were much fewer than the appealing ones.
