Louisville

April 10, 2022

We left Gatlinburg, TN mid-morning and raced our way through Tennessee and across Kentucky to Louisville where we stopped for a couple of hours to quickly explore the town. We walked around downtown and took pictures at the Louisville Slugger headquarters in front of their giant baseball bat. We then walked across the Big Four Bridge that spans the Ohio River into Indiana. The bridge was originally a railroad bridge completed in 1895 and in service until 1968. It was converted to a pedestrian and cyclist bridge in 2014. After that, we found a Boba tea shop with reviews raving about its authenticity and flavor, so we made a stop at Fun Boba Tea for some drinks and Taiwan dessert, and then hit the road for Indianapolis.
