Ann Arbor

Following our weekend in Marquette, we stayed in Ann Arbor, MI for a week which gave us some much needed time to plan our next month-long stay after a hectic final few weeks in Chicago. We were able to take care of some paperwork finalizing our Transit purchase and do thorough research on our next destination. Aside from visiting a couple parks, we didn’t see much of the town until the end of the week when we visited the University of Michigan campus. The most impressive area was the Michigan Law Quadrangle and the Law Library which consists of Gothic-style buildings that made us feel like we were in Harry Potter. The following day, we visited The Creature Conservancy where we viewed a myriad of animals types including an alligator, sloth, reindeer, and armadillo.
