On our final day in Florida, we ventured to Blue Springs State Park, renowned for its captivating winter manatee sightings. Regrettably, our timing was a bit off, as the last of the manatees had recently bid farewell to the springs and returned to the ocean in preparation for spring. Despite missing out on the manatee experience, we couldn’t help but appreciate the park’s natural beauty, with its pristine waters, lush surroundings, and diverse wildlife.
