After visiting the NC Museum of Art, we headed to the NC Museum of Natural Sciences located in downtown Raleigh just north the of statehouse. One of the more interesting areas of the museum is the open lab they let guests self-tour and view on-going experiments. We got to see specific types of insects that eat Styrofoam and plastic being observed for their potential to help fight plastic pollution.
