Wanting to check out the renowned North Carolina beaches, we took a day trip out to Wilmington, NC and visited Wrightsville Beach. It was a nice, warm day and the ocean was refreshing—couldn’t have asked for better weather. After relaxing on beach for a few hours, we drove to downtown Wilmington and took a walk along the riverwalk before returning to Cary.
